Low toxic living for all Australians
With thousands of Australians becoming increasingly concerned about the impact of harmful chemicals on their health and wellbeing, Neil Reid began a global search for home care products that were non-toxic, highly effective and safe for the environment.
In the early 2000’s when Neil met world-renowned French biochemist, Dr Erick Venturelli, the journey to make a difference, had truly began with the creation of an innovative range of scientifically formulated cleaning solutions, created from pure essential oils and organically sourced ingredients.
When Neil shared this opportunity with Jeanette Anderson, they knew that giving Australians the opportunity to not only enjoy using these products in their homes but also distribute them to friends and family would be a winner. A perfect business opportunity for people wanting to earn an income in a way that fitted with their lifestyle and responsibilities.
Karla Hart joined the team and Nature Direct’s first board meeting was convened (at Neil’s dining table), and plans were made to set up a production and distribution facility. With a ‘we-can-do-it attitude’, and an innovative product to sell, the trio headed out to realise their vision.
It’s now over 14 years since Nature Direct started making a difference in the lives of Australian families and the vision the company started is still as strong.
“Youngevity had been searching for a green alternative line of cleaning products that would be synergistic with our philosophy of offering products that are supportive of a healthy lifestyle for some time,” said Dave Briskie, president and CFO of Youngevity. “Nature Direct’s products embody those attributes we were seeking and are a welcome addition to our Youngevity family of products.”
It’s all about family
Nature Direct now has hundreds of Clean Living Advocates around the world, passionate to bring greener, friendlier cleaning solutions into homes. Their mantra “it’s all about family” spreads through everything they do. From making sure their people have the tools they need to earn a living (and still see their kid’s school performances), to delivering the best products that nature – and science - has to offer.
They are proud to offer flexible careers and home care solutions that kill germs without leaving a toxic load.
The other reason was that we wanted to nurture a culture based on a sense of community.
After all, if you surround yourself with people who are driven to succeed, who are passionate about what they do, and highly energetic then that, in itself, is contagious. This culture enables our business strategy while encouraging excellence, personal growth and achievement.
Successful people like helping others achieve.
And that, in a nutshell, is what our company is all about.
